I just finished listening to our new MK President Nathan Moore talking about the new ALL IN campaign and what it means. I love that it’s basically getting back to basics, back to what Mary Kay created this company, while yet keeping up with the times. I know I’m sold, I’m ALL IN, what about you?
What does it mean to be “ALL IN”? It means being committed to being successful in your business and in changing lives. You can change the lives of the women you have at your classes, you can change the lives of women who you add to your team. How can I do this? Well, you need to get out there! You need to meet women, you need to book classes, you need to hold classes, and you need to follow up! You can’t do that if you’re spending your time on social media or on your computer/smart phone. You can use these tools to book your classes, but you have to get out and meet women! Make it a goal to hand out a minimum of 5 cards each day. Get their information and send them a sweet card in the mail or email. Then follow up and book them!
Start delegating those tasks that keep you from building your retail business and your team building! Get off the computer and get off your smart phone! Stop making those newsletters, stop updating your websites, there are virtual assistants who can do that. Even Mary Kay herself delegated those tasks that kept her from building her business. The most successful business people delegate those penny tasks in order to make the big bucks.
As a virtual assistant, I”m ALL IN to helping your build your business! I love recognizing those unit members who are working their business and building their teams. So, in order to do that, I am eliminating all set up fees. Let me focus on you so you can focus on your business!
2016 was a great year, and also a rough year for many of us. It’s been full of ups and downs, hills and valleys. But I look to 2017 full of hope and plans for the future! I was listening to a radio station (K-Love) in the car the other day and the DJ was talking about how every year, she asks the Lord to give her one word for the coming year. For this coming year, He gave her “Renewal”. That word has stuck with me and been a focus in my mind. This coming year will be one of renewal for me and for my business.
Mary Kay has been going full speed into the future, with the new products they have come out with and the ones they are coming out with soon. They have changed how we can do business, we can do it online now, not just with the Mary Kay website, but with Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc… We can hold classes online, give tutorials on makeup techniques, and reviews of our products. That doesn’t mean the old ways can’t still work. Holding classes, our “Try before you buy” and 100% money back guarantee still works.
Leadership 2017 begins January 11 in New Orleans this year. Mary Kay’s goal is to have 9,500 Directors and DIQs at this event. And it’s not too late, there’s still a day and a half to finish up goals for your future Directors to make DIQ! And to get registered. After this, Career Conference is sneaking up on us this March. Mary Kay’s mini Seminar is going to be the best ever! There are many cities to choose from, check with your director or national to find out which one they are attending. AND if you have earned the Embrace Your Dreams bracelet in December-February, you will qualify for the special Career Conference luncheon where you will receive ANOTHER gorgeous bracelet with the saying “Eat Dessert First”! You really don’t want to miss this fun event, so start making plans now! The education and support you will receive is second to none!
For MKS Design Services, this will be a year of changes and renewal. I am working on a v-card program and a texting program that can help grow your business and unit. Texts are generally looked at with 2 minutes of receipt. Think about this- text a reminder to your unit that they are close to Star Consultant. That person receives it, remembers (Oh, yeah!), and places an order that will get them to that Star level! You’ve got another Star Consultant in your unit. I will keep you posted on when these services will become available.
Have a wonderful, safe, and healthy New Year!!
